Northampton County funds this department — that covers most of what we need. Donations handle the rest: gear that wears out, certifications that come due, repairs that don't follow a budget schedule.

How it gets used
Turnout Gear and PPE
Firefighting gear wears out. Replacing a single set costs more than most people expect, and every active member needs to be properly covered.
Training and Certification
State certifications and continuing education renew every year. That cost falls on the department — donations go straight toward it.
Vehicle Maintenance
Our apparatus runs year-round. Repairs don't wait for a convenient time, and they don't always fit the budget.
Station Operations
Utilities, supplies, and daily upkeep keep the station functional. None of it is glamorous. All of it is necessary.
